Why do People Smoke ?

Why do people smoke ?

People smoke because they think that stopping smoking is far worse than smoking. Nothing could be further from the truth. Smokers that stop live longer, happier, and healthier lives than smokers. This delusion will be smashed and replaced with a happier and healthier approach to life in general. This is the serendipity of stopping smoking.

The causes of smoking are within your own thinking, that is, what you have done to your own mind over the course of your smoking life. The purpose of this program is to help you stop smoking by showing you exactly how to change that thinking so that you can stop without gaining weight or reacting irritably.

In other words, you will learn how to recondition your own thinking.

This will enable you to stop smoking without gaining weight and without acting irritably. Most importantly, you will be able to stay off smoking for as long as you choose to do so. You will be able to stop smoking at any time, under any conditions.

If you would like to find out how to stop smoking regardless of how many times you have tried to stop, how long you have smoked, how many times you have failed in the past, or how many people around you smoke, stick around . 1. My entire life I manged not to smoke until I was 27 and landed in rehab. Ironically because everyone else smoked, I also picked up a smoking habit. It began with a “lemmie have a drag” here and there. And then it became “do you have spare cigarette” and then after awhile I buying a pack when I went out on a pass. I smoked for 5 years straight. It was nuts because I never smelled it on me or felt like the smell didn’t cling on to me, but it did. I just couldn’t smell it because I was so used to it.

Then I got pregnant. Something about pregnancy changes you. I mean, it didn’t happen right away. I hesitated. I was sad. I had to give up my beloved cigarettes. But ultimately I did, because the health of my baby was too important.

And that is how I quit. Never picked it up again since then. Crazy how that was sort of like a bad phase for me. I think its a lot harder for most people though. Because a lot of individuals smoke their whole lives and are never given an opportunity or had an incentive to quit – like me.

    1. Glad to see that you stopped successfully… Luckily, you found a way that was drug-free and did not hurt your baby… I am seeing more and more pregnant women seeking help.. Unfortunately, Gums, patches, and many other methods involve drugs which are potentially harmful to the baby.. We are very proud to offer a drug-free solution to pregnant Moms… There are also some posts here about stopping while pregnant that you may enjoy…. Keep up the Good Work !
